well, just spent the morn doin' some promo. it seems like me and the boys are gettin' 'long pretty well at the new, refurbished glaxor haus. we've been talkin' alot of genesis lately and evan findin' all that genesis tab on line has got me pickin' up the guitar and learnin' w/ vigor.
lessons are goin' strong- i just picked up a new student, andrew templeton, who's is extraordinarily patient, and his rhythm's pretty impecable. on top of that, he seems to be a bit of a math whiz, which always helps musically. i think he's gonna be a scary player. and roy strausberger's (i work w/ two of his daughters, loreli and selina) workin' up my song, "song to my 1st lover" for my 2nd cd release at the cactus cafe on nov. 25, 2003. i keep tellin' him what a beautiful house he has. it's an amazing treat to go over there every week. the place is a castle! he's flyin' back into town to do the release, and he's gonna take the baby taylor i just acquired from evan w/ him so he can practice. he says he's about to hit six countries on business. woww....
things are busy- just tryin' to stay as healthy as possible and keep my feet out of the water and head above it.
also, i've been having e-mail correspondence w/ kevin brashier, and ole trumpet-playin' friend of mine from pearland, tx. he sent me pics of his children, who are beautiful, and the ole haus i grew up in (now on my desktop) which he and his wife are considering buying. now wouldn't that be somethin'??!!
