things are going good. the bozarth twins are about to move into the house. dboz is in here already. marty and rocco the magical and yet mischevious beast are movin' out and goin' up to the northwest. man, dboz is still sleepin'. i'm gonna get his ass up and feed him here in a minute, just like the magical and yet mischevious beast that he is.

last weekend was break-neck and crazy as usual, with the zappa hoot night on wed., gg in dallas on thur., gg in odessa on fri., and gg in lubbock on sat. i'm not sure, exactly, how i made it, but i reckon there's folks doin' this all the time.

gg had a rehearsal last nt., w/ nick in absence. we worked on an ole piece of jarle's and mine that i have named "blive's ride," that name given to the piece the time dboz and i were hangin' over at forshage's place after the pecan street festival. that was a good day- a sunday. dboz, callie, and i ended up over at karla's and thomas', celebrating karla's birthday. the evenin' turned out to be a songwriter round, w/ doug snyder, j molin, karla's ma and pa (what incredible spanish songs they sang!), karla, all passin' around the guitar. could've gone much longer that it did. i had brought karla the gift of boone's, which was gone by the end of the nite.

anyway, i guess "blive's ride" went alright last nt. i gotta put some form of arrangment together next time we try it out. it's an instrumental, w/ 5 parts. that was somethin' the doc, jarle, was always good at- arrangements.
