hard to believe it's almost at the end of 2003. it seemed like the 2000 computer scare was yesterday, as well as the two-tower disaster in 2001. i remember that day, sitting at home unemployed, and the shock of the entire morning... i ended up trying to be around friends as much as possible that day. thanx joanne and ken, jarle of grass' employers.

lots of things up these days. just got finished w/ a new record, yori; groovin ground drove in from port a. today, after the gig at neptune's, where my guitar crapped out; the zappa hoot nite's on oct. 8. groovin ground's playin' antone's this fri., which is very ugi. grass is cutting a new record and all the tracks are ready. we just need money. ain't that a bitch and a truth all around these days. vic, sara, and i are still doin' gigs as alien grass, 'bout one a month down at the triple crown in san marcos usually.

bob of goliath organization loaned me a book yesterday, while we were on the rd. to port a. it's titled "miles," and is miles davis' autobiography. man, is it killin' me. everybody musical should read this thing. just a few drops of musical wisdom, and some very revealing things on the scene back then. the musical droplets come, interspersed between his lingo.

right now i'm listening back on the recordings that the bozarth boys and i did back in dec., 2002, under the name "mozarth." i'm really, really liking what the fellas did on yori. thanx fellas!
