whew hoo- another year about to roll by, and i think i was just getting used to writing down 2003 instead of 2002. i hope i don't get further behind...
well, i believe i'm in much better spirits than a few days back. i have a way of fantasizin' about splittin' town when i get down.
had a good talk w/ mr. doug snyder of the jelly dots last nite over a few beers down at the ole carousel lounge. we talked shop and swapped stories about the auto/biographies we've been reading. he's been readin' sting's latest and i've been readin' the miles davis biography. we also exchanged band stories
i also got to see the lord of the rings movie w/ a beautiful young woman whom i met at work named graciela. it's been real nice bein' 'round her, man.
and my cousin russell clepper's (on my other's side) daughter's comin' down from quebec. i believe we're all headed out for big bend for a week- it appears that the boys may come along in the van, and perhaps graciela and a friend of hers, sarah.
it was also good to hang w/ russ and mike phelan down at specht's store this past sun. russ runs an open mic down there, 2-6pm, every sun. cool place w/ pasture in the background. callie and nick came along. it was a smokin' time!
